soo sorry i wanst able to update my blog for a couple days and i have a good reason for that though, i was actually busy painting the bathroom hallway then sanded oh yes you read it right i sanded the bathroom wall and put mud on it so i can finally paint it on the other hand ive sewn some pj's for my bestfriend this is my personalized bday presents for her and then sewn shower curtain and window curtain for the bathroom.so yeah you got it right im that busy but yesterday is a blastful day with friends i hosted a bb shower/get together in my barong2x.. im soo happy to spend quality time with friends eating filipino foods like there's no tom.(lol)

Which do you think is simpler: to say, ‘I forgive your sins,’ or, ‘Get up and walk’?
In my reflection on this passage I have to stop and think which is the greater miracle. To make a paraplegic walk or to forgive sins. Jesus puts both of them in contrast here. In todays world, miracles are (magic of the flesh or anything that cannot be explained in science). We are actually more inclined to believe in aliens than in the power of God. Anyway I digress. The point is, what is the simpler miracle : Miracle of the flesh, or miracle of the spirit (which is how I would class these). The answer depends on where we place or focus. For Christ, he came seeing the world we live in through immortal eyes. For him the greatest miracle is a change of heart because that is more lasting. One day our bodies will wither and die and the paraplegic who once walked will again walk no more. But to forgive his sins was to give legs and life to his immortal soul. The danger is to live this life thinking that you have everyday for the rest of your life because then even the priorities of our lives become priorities of the flesh not spirit. Everything we have will be gone. Fortunes made and squandered, lives lost and regained. The blind will see and the seeing will go blind. Nothing under the sun has not been seen before. God is only interested in the soul. Thats why upon seeing the paraplegic, Jesus was not moved by his physical condition as much as the condition of his soul. It was important that His soul was first healed. When the focus is on eternity priorities change from what to wear and what your car should look like to how to save souls and heal the spiritually sick through the simple message of Christ. Who by the way never wore nice clothes or drove fancy cars.

Go figure out what this Scripture means: ‘I’m after mercy, not religion.’ I’m here to invite outsiders, not coddle insiders.”
This passage ripped me out of my comfort zone. Its so easy to associate with brethren in the Church and hope that through your actions and holy life, the outside will look at you and see Christ without you associating with them. Jesus will ask, "Is that what i sent you to do? Did i send you to save the healed? Did i give you this precious gift of salvation so you could keep it in nice wrapping and never open for all the world to see? I gave you so much and you did so little." Mercy is such a powerful word. One that has become obsolete in this day and age. Or one that has been made to signify weakness. Mercy is about extending grace to those who least deserve it. I have spent the last year opening my eyes to religion in the church. Asking why we do some of the things we do. Asking myself why we are in a building every Sunday looking/smelling nice or both. Why we are not doing the work that was intended from the start. Ministry is not for the elite saved or for those that have has God appear to them in their living room? Or for those that have a pulpit to preach at every Sunday. We each must have our own personal ministries based on where we have been placed and the gifts we have been given. The formula is simple, start with an act of love. Find common ground and relate to the kingdom, let the Holy spirit do the rest. Let us have mercy on the lost. Salvation is theirs not for the people who have it and choose to do nothing about it. Do not get trapped in religious activities. None of that matters, for people will make noise and to amazing things in the name of Religion but at the end of the day all that was ever act was an act of love. Have Mercy. Save A Soul.

thanks for dropping by my page every now and then..
well its unsual for me to wake up early but, since i got a call from my filipina friend who wants to stop by the house and wants to have brunch with me i was like ok im just now waking up so when do u think u will be here and shes like maybe in less than 15 mins. ok great..so i was like i need to get ready and cook rice and kinda clean the house before she gets here..luckily hubby cooked extra rice last night and im like YES...i have left over but still id go ahead and cook rice just incase ...then i fry some dried fish and cooked some sardines so its all good im glad its easy fix..
ayayay...Hubby called and actually happy to hear that i did eat my breakfast..
(FYI. i rarely eat breakfast i rather sleep than eat...wink..) i know its bad but what can i say i love sleeping..

OH how i wish i have the money to spend something and that something would be for my hubby..He is very simple laidback kind of a guy and he is very responsible. Did you know that he purchase his own car with his own money when he was 16 years old? he bought a 1991 honda and until now he still drives it..(carrrrzzzzzyyyyy) we always joke around that his car is actually old enough to vote...lol

we had a busy situation here in the family for the last couple of weeks...

my sis inlaw who recently got engaged wanted to have a wedding this month and it did happen..but take note it took the couple 2 weeks to pick a date for their wedding and they decide to get married in 5 weeks..crazy but GOD orchestrated everything...had an awesome time with families and friends and the two is just a testimony of how GOD loves us...they are beaming with love for each other the bride is soo radiant..

Yesterdays message at church was a great one, it stirs up the hunger inside of me,
3 questions that i need to answer seriously:

1. What will it take to really satisfy me?
2.How am i going to treat others?
3.who do you want to please in this life?

I do admit that the answers to this questions sometimes does not inline with what GOD wants. thats why it is soo powerful and it struck me.
I need to examine my heart and realign my priorities.
I wanna be the person whom GOD is greatly delighted.

CORN MAZE DAYS

This fall Michelle and I are enjoying our weekend work at the PERSIAN NIGHTS corn maze at LYND'S FRUIT FARM near Pataskala. I am throwing myself into a different kind of engineer work; not civil, but barrel trains. The kiddies love it and after a six hour shift of yelling "All aboard!" and making dozens if steam-whistle sounds I am always ready to come home and watch football. I pull twelve cars made out of old 55-gallon drum plastic barrels with a mini-tractor. Grandpa Brooks built the train and no one has really ever seen anything like it. The kids love it. And on football Saturdays to entertain the parents one of my tricks is to drive the train into a tight circle and shout "O-H". Michelle is hanging on as a cashier, it gets a little crazy sometimes when we get a rush of people, but experience working at a OSU Bookstore during the first week of classes has prepared her well. If you live in the Central Ohio area you should really investigate coming out to LYND's for a fall weekend day, it is quite a memorable country experience not too far from Columbus.

It has been a crazy week for us.....worked alot of hours at the bookstore since classes just started..oh geez people are rude and nasty but i am soo blessed to be surrounded with very great christian people in my workplace..praise JESUS... i loved my work and i loved my co workers and managers they have been such a great blessing in my life....
oh by the way im soo glad that my family back home is not affected by that nasty typhoon that hit manila area..i pray blessings for people who lost their loved ones and hoping they will find rest and find peace in GOD'S omnipresence...

I haven't been much in my computer for several weeks,its been crazy busy, from church activities,to family affairs to soul searching..ask why? i have been soo sad with my walk with our Lord Jesus Christ, I haven't reading much and soaking myself with GOD's omnipresence, just keep stalling around and been soo stagnant deep inside, i need some holy spirit filling or else i'll be spiritually dead and i dont want that to happen.Been feeling pretty damn stupid trying to force myself to get in tune with GOD,but alot of disturbances deep down inside that a stupid ME allowed to manipulate ME again..Trying to get some solutions from pretty substandard resources (you know what im sayin?) let me point it out, been soo much busy with my laptop,trying to watch too much TV and hey ive been into gluttony lately..which is a pretty BIG sin..i let those things that i mentioned consumed me.and you know what its pretty darn good but its not fulfilling.
Now i came to realized that those are the things that stop me from being more intimate with my LORD and SAVIOUR.
I came to realized that i settle for lesser things, things that the world offered which i know its very tempting to give in..(ive been there) those are the things that stop me from looking at the bigger picture.those silly substitutes makes me realized that only GOD can fill those holes in our lives, we are designed to have holes that everytime we leaks we need some filling from our GOD. but? we always look for some substitutes that never really satisfy us?
I pointed out some of the substitutes that i thought would fill me but it didn't...

like ive mention before, the marriage retreat is very sucessful one PRAISE GOD, it has been a great experience for everyone and specially for us, arrived there in quality inn in belville ohio around 4, stayed in room 210 to be exact, the marriage retreat is such a nice way to meet some married couples and build some relationship with them, things that really stands out in me in the retreat is, the atmosphere is great, the retreat is very laid back, and this is not the kind of retreat that teaches people how to be a great husband and how to be a great wife in step by step procedure,(and kinda nudge your wife or husband that did you get it?did you get no.1?2?3?) coz in reality we can't be perfect) its about knowing who really GOD is and how GOD design marriage.
Now i want to give an illustration,marriage is like a triangle, GOD is on top and husband and wife is on the other side, the more we walk closer to GOD the more we get close to each other, the more we walk away from GOD the more we get too far apart.

The other night as my husband and I were on our way home from church he saw a sheriff pass us in our hometown, and then the sheriff turned around to trail us. Just as we were turning into our driveway the sheriff turned his flashing lights on. I was really really scared I didn't know what was happening. Jacob was calm he knew the exact problem, one of our headlights had gone out that weekend. I asked him what was wrong a couple times before the sheriff got up to our car window to talk to us and hubby responded its because of the headlight, but I was so worried I didn't even him hear him say that. I still didn't know what was going on. Turns out though all it was, was the warning for not having all working lights on the vehicle. Hubby says getting pulled over by the authorities is a good reminder to keep up with all of the issues a responsible car owner needs to care for. For one, he got the headlight fixed the next day, two, we are trying to figure out a better deal for our car insurance. In Ohio not having car insurance can get you in big trouble. I'm wondering if its the same in California. Cost-U-Less drive insurance is one of Cali's car insurance options. So we are asked today by our Youth Pastor if we could be one of the leaders of the spring break retreat this march in Panama, Florida and guess where? its in LAGUNA BEACH, its gonna be a great Spring Break serving our GOD in one of the hottest beach spot in Florida and its a great week too for us to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary in the Beach, we are planning to stay longer from march 22nd till the 31st, its gonna be a great one..

Live for nothing Die for something (from the movie RAMBO)

When I was growing up in the Philippines my family once rented a movie with Sylvester Stalone called Rambo First Blood, we liked it so much we rented Rambo Second Blood. I know what your thinking, thats entertainment with a lot of blood. Its true it was more of a movie just for my Papa to watch, but all my family watched the Rambo movies together so its one of those childhood memory things. Today the new RAMBO movie came out in theatres and I had told my hubby a few weeks ago I wanted to see it. So we made a day of it, we had some Tim Horton donuts, then attended the noon showing of RAMBO on opening day. The movie was the best, hubby is suprised I think that, because he thinks its one of the bloodiest movies he has seen, so he liked it. But I mean the storyline was really inspiring to me. John Rambo is living a very simple life in Thailand. Then a missionary group approaches him to get a boat ride up river into civil-war-torn Burma seeking to help the people there. The boat ride and dangerous trip to Burma was like a "journey of faith" in my mind. I ask myself if God called me to a mission like that would I go? Things go bad for the missionaries and Rambo saves them of course. All I can say, if you can stomach the very heavy violence then this RAMBO movie will push you to ask a lot of big but good questions of yourself. I thank my hubby for taking me to this movie because it reminded me of good moments with my family back in the Philippines and gave me better perspective for my daily life now. Thank God for real life John Rambo's who fight to make this world free.

Valentine's Day is coming up soon. I arrived in America from the Philippines last February 3rd in 2007. So Valentine's Day was the first holiday I experienced in America, so its a special holiday for me and my hubby. This year we are planning on going on a marriage retreat with our church over that holiday weekend. A time to gain tools to strengthen our already happy marriage. Last year I had just arrived to the U.S. and didn't have any of my own money to buy my hubby a gift for Valentine's, which he always calls Valentime's for some reason, and I have to correct him. But this year I have a few bucks and hubby really needs some new clothes. Obviously I'm online a lot so something like online shopping coupons are a simple way for me to get hubby some new style in his life. Personally, we like the deals at Aeropostale and Old Navy, we always seem to find good things on their 70% off racks both online and in the store. I just bought a new pair of jeans for hubby yesterday in fact. He chooses my style and I choose his, being each others fashion experts just seems to work for us and its fun. We are excited for Valentine's Day this year.

It was a fine night when hubby got a call from terry houghton,if we could be one of the leaders of C.R.Y(celebrate recovery youth) she asked us to pray about it, and ask GOD for the answer,she told us, that while she was praying about the ministry, and asking GOD to give her the wisdom to know who will be the right persons to be added in the Team. and our names came straight to her mind Jacob and Michelle Brooks, so she called us and told us about it, so we were like, ok! well pray about it! after joining the THE CALL in cincinnati, i found myself leading those kids to the feet of my lord Jesus Christ, and this is the answer of what ive been praying for.

i am so delighted of what my GOD is doing in my life right now, being able to share JESUS with the youth is such a joy to know that my GOD has been glorified.

so i am sitting here at ohio state, contemplating what had happened last saturday, as i enter the US Bank arena in cincinnati ohio a great sense of warmness fills my very being, as i stood there asking GOD to fill me with his holy spirit, in awe with his majesty, blessed to be a part of a family of believers that never gets tired of praising the GOD who is worthy to recieve all the praises and glory, The CALL is basically a movement that respond to the call of JESUS to value LIFE, a life that has been shattered with those selfish people who knew for a fact that it is such a heinous crime,

If you are asking why we gathered in cincinnati? Why not in columbus?

here's why

Cincinnati was where the Underground Railroad brought them to safety. Cincinnati was the place where a new breed of abolition preachers fanned through the nation shaking the ideologies of slavery. Cincinnati is where the slave trade of pornography was completely banned for 20 years just in recent history. Cincinnati is the place where the right-to-life movement began in America. And Cincinnati is where a profound adoption movement is being raised up to care for every unwanted child and every unborn child. The true heir to the civil rights movement is not homosexual liberties, but freedom for the unborn and the pregnant mother, and the Underground Railroad for the great injustice of abortion is adoption.

As Abraham Lincoln said in his second inaugural address:

My husband works with a lot of reports at his workplace. Many of those reports end up being more the size of novels than anything else. In his spare time he loves to read history books and just recently i bought him a book called "RELIGIONS OF THE FOUNDERS" plus Glen Beck "INCONVENIENT BOOK" i bought that Glen Beck book for my own benefit too, since im hooked up with his show. back to hubby, whether he is at work or at home he is surrounded by items that need quality binding, you dont have any idea how many books he owned, since his passion is reading, (i actually put his old books in big boxes and try to put them away for now, since we dont have alot of space in the apartment right now). Well like ive told you hes doing alot of reports with the company he's working right now, If those reports do not come together to look professional grade or a book is not well bound, that causes problems. SO like ive told you before, My project for this year is to make some pillow cases and pillows too since my inlaws gave me the sewing machine that ive always wanted to purchase and owned, plus it comes with a giftcard too for me to buy some fabrics and some things that ive needed for me to start sewing, so we headed to joanns fabric the other day and buy some fabrics and the necessary things that ive needed to get it started.

Hubby helped out with the selection of the fabrics that we wanted to have in our bedrooms and like usual he made a perfect choice again. for now i can just show you the photos of the two pillows and pillow cases that ive made yesterday using my powerful tool more photos coming along the way.so standby for that.

Anyways, my day is great today, hubby and i helped out babysitting Jake D.hubbys nephew. after that, we stopped by at WHITS for us to get some ice cream too bad it is closed, so we headed to victorias parlour to satisfy our craving for ICE CREAM. ive got mint chocolate and hubby got black cherry ice cream still good though but nothing beats with our favorite ice cream place "WHITS".

New Years BIG BLESSING

Im just soo excited till now, thinking how awesome it is to be an aunt once again and hubby is the same way too, i called my family around 12pm last night to greet them happy new year , but i was surprised when they told me that my sister had her 1st newborn baby what a perfect timing. she had her first contraction around 10:30 new years eve and delivered the baby safely 9:30am January 1 and named it Andrea kay ( named after my ma-inlaw Arinda kay Brooks ) 7.26Lbs and 18 inches, i ask them if they could take a picture of my neice and send it. but too bad, my brother's camera phone is not working good,(mOm brooks suggested to get them another phone, maybe YES maybe NOT). Anyways im quite amazed that ive got to talked to my sister after she delivered her newborn like 1 & 1/2 hours ago. and take note its her first child,normal delivery and she's Diabetic (had insulin injection everyday since the 21st of january till the day she had the baby).
We can't stop praising GOD for all the blessings we recieved from last year and this year. oh what an AWESOME GOD HE IS.

God really works in ways that we dont understand,last night we found out that our dear friend's father just passed away a day after our saviour was born, so we come up with a quick plan to set up memorial service for him,too sad she couldn't be there physically to see his father and to be with the rest of her family, but we praised GOD for his unfailing love, it was around 3:30 at springhills baptist church together with Pastor Jeff Pound, who has been a missionary in the philippines for quite awhile and can speak the language fluently,We thank GOD above all for orchestrating everything,providing our dear friends with what she really needs this time of her life, a comforting joy,a calming peace that comes from GOD alone.

As I survey the political scene of America, I continue to get the sense that people are tired of harsh and divisive politics in America. The tone of our continuing political dialogue is more about yelling and less about discussing and listening. People seem occupied with seeing who can stand the firmest and shout the loudest.

Yesterday was a real good day, we actually woke up late but then decided to take a walk together since the weather outside was real nice, we took a walk to the farm and just praising GOD for the beauty of his creation.went back home and decided to visit the family since the cousins are there to spend thier holidays with our family.We decided to play "RISK" (just click the link if your curious what the game is) since im new to this game, have to observe first and know how to play it an hubby said, im gonna be his "roller", we got a lot of luck since i am the one who roll the dice ( i tell yah it was alot of fun), since im good at it, jacobs brother ask if i could roll the dice for him but hubby jokingly told him "you should get a wife then! " we started the game around 1:30 and finish it around 5:30 pretty long huh but not boring, its fun to fight,conquer and capture some territories from other players.

and the result? we aimed for 1st place but we ended up 2nd place.

not to shabby at all.

It was a surprise visit to the reznik's, good thing they are kind enough to let me in..(whaaa..drama pa daw c michelle ah), but i was very thankful to Jenny and the kids, for giving me some of their time to bond with me, we ate at molly's and im quite delighted the way the food tasted, (thanks Jenny for introducing that restaurant) and hubby got to joined us.

He has alot of fun just looking at kids and day dreaming of being a father someday.

last night was super fantabulously great, we had a wonderful time with fellow believers in christ at the nationwide arena for the Bill Gaither's homecoming christmas concert, it is spectacular,

God has been glorified and we are in great reverence of his majesty.

I had soo much to tell you about the event but, i have to prepare for sunday service today, its gonna be exciting, our new Pastor is preaching today for the first time.

Yesterday was a spectacular day even if it started with just a little bit crotchetiness,
i woke up expecting to have the whole day with pure fun with hubby, but end up being cranky because of his relaxation time, i mean his relaxation time is playing football with his brother that turns out a 2 and half hour session, then when he called me saying im done, ill be home in a minute, My response is,
yeah, you should be done now, it took you 2 and half hours, i timed you Mr. Brooks!

But, still came home happy giving me a smile that just take my crankiness away..whew, and now we have to plan our day together, we actually agreed that maybe we could go christmas shopping for the family, but just before we left the house he ruined my shopping mood already, simply by telling me, i dont wanna do something today, im not in a shopping mood, but then he take it back by simply saying, but ill be your driver, we went to get some gift cards from texas road house and eat some burito at chipotle and got some giftcards too for our g-pa & g-ma its the time of the year that they got to try something new.

We rushed to shop something for the birthday girl jessica at kohls, but have to call jenny for the size, its a funny convos with jenny, hearing myself say something funny..hahaha, but thanks that my mouth slips that time, coz im actually in a bad mood already, since i saw hubby sitting in the corner, imagine in the floor near the wall, and i said, stand up, your embarassing,
and he said,
i told you im not in a shopping mood im tired ( usually he likes to shop thats why i was pissed off)i understand though..he worked very hard but still...arrgggh..

so i told him to wait for me in the car and he did,but im feeling sorry for what i did to him and so i end up my shopping thing. on our way to the parking lot, an old lady ask jacob to help her loading her vacuum cleaner on the trunk and so hubby said YES with a smile, so i smile and said, im blessed to have husband like that...
inside the car,no one said a word, until he told me he lost his wedding band...and im like what? oh oh noooo...but he was hoping its in the house, but, i told him i actually ask you before we leave the house if you have your wedding band with you and you said yeah right? but were still hoping its in the house.

As soon as we arrived the house, we keep on looking but we cant find it, so we called kohls and ask them to lool for the wedding band, but still we wanna make sure, so after we called we went there again, on our way there, hubby joked around and said, "we really like kohls hah" we've been here twice today, (laughing is a good remedy)

We tried our very best to search it at parking lot, we dont get a luck, we were thinking maybe its on the lady's trunk, so we headed to the costumers service at kohls to tell them that we called a while ago for the lost wedding band, and tell them about helping one of the costumer here who bought a hover vacuum cleaner around 4pm, hoping if its her trunk she might call kohls and look for us. still got no luck,

On our way home, hubby said, no one will know that i lost my wedding band ok, even the family, then i said ok, we went home feeling bad, hubby said we have to go mom and dad's for us to decorate the 12 feet tall christmas tree, they have a tradition in their family, each of them has their own ornaments from the time that they were 1 year old, so each year they have one ornament, hubby is 26 already so he has 26 ornaments and mom got us two penguins sitting in a wedding band ( pic's later ) kinda cool huh! just lost a wedding band, but the family doen'st even know about it..so we had fun, despite losing the wedding band..huhuhuhu, we came home around 10:30 and went to bed around 10:40,just before going to bed its our thing together to pray before GOD,
hubby's prayer went something like this!( as far as i can remember),
we thank you for a very good family that im a part of and now michelle can be a part of it, and thank you for a very good wife, help us to be aware ( prayer continues, cant remember it all ) and GOD help us to find the wedding band, whoever got the wedding band, we hoped and pray that they are honest and trustworthy people AMEN,

Just a split of seconds our phone ring around 10:56pm,we dont even recognize the number we dont have it on our buddy list, but i have that thing going on in my mind, that maybe its the answer of what weve prayed for, on the other line is a lady and she said, is this jacob brooks? and hubby said yes, the lady said we just found your ring and oh my gosh i cant help myself but just shout YES thank you GOD,and we just got soo excited and take our sleepyness away. we just witnessed how powerful the GOD whom we served, hubby said, we need to PRAY, and i prayed and just tahnk GOD for the prayers that he just answered, it is really wonderful...we are in awe of his majesty..

we called kohls again to find out if they were open till midnight, we cant wait to get the ring back, we drove down there again to get the ring and hoping to get the story where did they found the ring, we went to the jewelry section and ask for the ring and ask who found it,
the lady said,
i just got it from the costumer service department, it was taped up there, so i assumed that it was yours, here's your ring

we were like, oh my gosh its purely a GOD THING..no questioned ask, but we just thank GOD for giving us back the ring...
its time to celebrate so we had milkshake and burger at steak N shake...

who said GOD doen'st answer's prayers? he answered OUR's

now we dont have to hide that we lost the ring, we want to give GOD the glory,
so we need to tell the story

i woke up feeling grumpy...(not good)
have to go to an Otolaryngology for them to check up my throat, its been like 4 weeks, since i had this sore in my throat, i hate it, I've been to my doctor thrice, they couldn't figure out whats wrong with my throat thats why they have set up an appoinment for me to an ENT especialist,for them to ultrasound my throat. OH NO!...somethings really wrong..huhuhuhuSo have to wake up early today, but since im feeling grumpy and i dont want to go there by myself, feeling nervous of what will be the outcome of the test, but i already set up my mind if my husband can't take me there, i will cancel my appointment, i know its ridiculous but i prefer to have him by my side, since i feel safe when his with me, but he has to go to work and we thought that he can come home early for the appointment but OH BOY, its turns out he can't take me,My inlaws offer to give me a ride, but i prefer to have my husband on my side, so, i called the office and cancelled my appointment....

A picture began circulating in November. It should be "The Picture of the Year," or perhaps, "Picture of the Decade." It won't be. In fact,unless you obtained a copy of the US paper which published it, you probably would never have seen it.

The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph Bruner.

The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta . She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb.

During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr.Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. Dr.Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile.

The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, "Hand of Hope." The text explaining the picture begins, "The tiny hand of 21-week- old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's u

terus to grasp the finger of Dr.. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life." Little Samuel's mother said they "wept for days" when they saw the picture. She said, "The photo reminds us pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness, it's about a little person."Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful.

My phone rang around 5:15am,sleepy head still that time. i grabbed my phone but then i missed the call,(bummer) with hubby’s cozy hug he (wishper) whisper into my ear happy birthday and i love you baby, after 2 minutes my phone ring again, its my family from the Philippines they wanted to let me know that im dearly loved and cherished and to tell me happy birthday ging (of course) they celebrated my birthday in the island with some ice cream and Filipino foods ( ummm yummmy )they sang a song for me in the phone, oh how i miss them.well on the other hand, im very happy to know that my aunt is getting married too, they too had the engagement party on my birthday. Double celebration indeed,well, im looking for a wonderful day today, im 22..yeah,
Thank you GOD for allowing me to live in your love and grace.

I was reading my devotional today, and i would like to share some of things that GOD had taught me. since my bible study group started a chapter in acts every sunday, im gettin pretty psyched to study acts too,we studied acts chapter 3 last sunday and we are astounded by the miracles that was presented in the book of acts and how bold peter and john to declare that GOD is indeed a GOD of healing and power which we know for a fact that they are forbidden to talked about the GOD whom they served,and as we were talking about it last sunday, i was comtemplating about the verse that struck me;

3When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" 5So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."

Sometimes we are like the crippled beggar, we ask for money coz and we aimed for the alms. we tend to view GOD also as a vending machine, if we like to get coke,we put the coins in and get what we want, if the vending machine doen'st work properly we get frustrated, the beggar wants money from peter and john, but john and peter did not give him what he wanted/expected. they give him more than what he ask for. so many times in our lives we ask GOD to give us something and when we dont recieve the specific thing that we ask from him we tend to think that he did not hear our plea, we need to check our motives first when we ask for something and rejoice while waiting patiently for the answers of our prayers, HE answers our prayers, all we need to do is wait and trust in him, remember the answers may not be the answers that we want,but know that he give us the answers that he knows whats best for us..

MY DAY is craziness
I woke up when hubby went for work,and went back to bed again,and woke up again after an hour coz hubby came back from work and decided not to work today since its raining soo hard,so its a happy day in our household,but, sitting here checking my blog makes me soo frustrated,since i dont know how to put that disclosure policy badge thing,soo glad that i talked to the queen of blogging jenny r...well,i did it..thanks J,well after that i have to edit my past post about back when i was young photos since it takes a lot of space in my blog,had to edit again ..im having a hard time to put them in line..huh..while hubby is fighting against his football team on his ps2,hes saying some random words like c'mmon baby. and i thought h was talking, while me being frustrated wt this blog thingy keep on saying words like, c'mon,hmm i dont have time for this,i dont know,ad e thought i was talkig to him too... well try to picture everything in your mind gurls, we thought that we are talking to each others and say random words to each other..but were just talking to ourselves..whahahahaha..its freaking craziness in the house...
